In short
A small website with few cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This website is built to work without tracking you. It sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies, and its fonts and scripts are served from our own site rather than from third parties.
If we ever add analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before any analytics cookie is set.
What is used
Cookies and services on this site
| Where | What it does | Type |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress (our website software) | Sets cookies only when someone signs in to manage the site. Visitors are not signed in, so these are not set for you. | Strictly necessary |
| Survey form | The enquiry form is provided by our customer system inside a frame. It may set cookies it needs to receive and protect your submission. | Strictly necessary |
| Maps | The maps are drawn in your browser from files on this website. They do not contact any other service and set no cookies. | None set by us |
| WhatsApp button | Opens WhatsApp with a message you have written. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own terms. | None set by us |
The WhatsApp form on this site keeps what you type only in the page while it is open. It is not stored in your browser or sent to us until you choose to send the message from WhatsApp.

How to control cookies
Strictly necessary cookies do not need consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because the site or the form cannot work without them. You can still block or delete any cookie in your browser settings. If you block the form's cookies, you can reach us by email at info@forgeskylightsbirmingham.co.uk or on WhatsApp at 07880 284133 instead.
For how we use the details you send us, see our privacy policy.
